Allah Dita Needs Eye Surgery to See Clearly
Allah Dita, a 48-year-old man from Multan, is facing a significant challenge that has cast a shadow over his life. His vision has become blurred, making it difficult for him to navigate the world around him. Simple tasks that he used to do easily have become really big challenges. He finds it hard to see clearly, especially in low light which not only affects his daily work but also puts him at risk of accidents. Recently, Allah Dita received medical advice for his deteriorating eyesight. After a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed him with bilateral ectopia lentis. It is the dislocation or displacement of the natural crystalline lens in the eye. To restore his eyesight, the doctor recommended a right eye Intracapsular Cataract Extraction (ICCE) followed by scleral fixation. However, the cost of this surgery is beyond his reach.
Not addressing his eye condition may increase the risk of complications such as pupillary block glaucoma and retinal damage, potentially resulting in long-term vision loss.
Allah Dita lives in a small brick house with his wife and five children. He is the sole breadwinner in the family and works as a daily wage laborer. With his limited monthly income, he struggles to make ends meet, leaving no room for such an expensive medical intervention. For him, managing household expenses including food and education is overwhelming. During this time of need, Allah Dita reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Allah Dita expressed his plea as follows:
“I can barely see my children’s faces now. Every day is a struggle, and I fear that without surgery, I will lose my sight completely. I want to provide for my family and see them grow, but my vision is fading away. I desperately need help to regain my sight and my life.”
Together, we can help restore his vision and bring light back into his life. Your contributions, no matter how small or big, can make a significant difference in Allah Dita’s recovery from blurry and double vision. Let’s unite to bring hope and healing to Allah Dita’s life.
