Abdul Hannan’s VSD Closure
Abdul Hannan's Story
Abdul Hannan has a congenital cardiac abnormality, and he needs a generous donor like you to overcome this life-threatening condition. Even a small donation can make a significant difference in his life. We ask you to donate to Abdul Hannan’s VSD Closure surgery so that his heart can be saved.
Abdul Hannan, an 18-month-old resident of Sukkur, Sindh, has been enduring breathing difficulties and giddiness. He was born with a congenital heart defect known as Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). His parents took him for a check-up. The doctor gave him symptomatic treatment and told his parents to wait till he was a year old for further procedures. But after some time, the medicines stopped working and his condition worsened. After further evaluation, the cardiologists advised Hannan to undergo Open Heart Surgery for Closure of Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). Ventricular septal defect (VSD) closure surgery is a type of heart surgery. It’s done to close a hole between the left and right ventricles of the heart. But due to financial constraints, his family couldn’t afford this surgery.
Hannan’s father is an office worker and he is the only earner in the family. He earns just enough to provide basic necessities to the family of eight. He cannot afford the hefty cost of this procedure. A neighbor told them about Transparent hands and they have been connected with us. We verified and registered Hannan’s case. His mother shared her sorrow in the following words:
“The suffering of my lovely child brings tears to my eyes. I don’t know what to do. Please donate to my son’s operation if you happen to be reading this.”
Now that his case is registered with Transparent Hands, we are determined to help him. But we can only do so with your support. We urge you to donate for Abdul Hannan’s VSD Closure surgery without any delay.
