A dying old man
Ali Muhammad's Story
Ali Muhammad, a 58 years old man, belongs to a very remote area of Sindh, known as Obaro; where modern facilities of life are almost non-existent. From hospitals to schools, every basic facility is far away from where they live. They have to travel miles on foot or use a donkey cart to reach hospital as roads are unpaved. Ali works on the farms of a landlord as a caretaker and hardly manages his daily expenses. 5 years ago, he had a very severe heart attack which almost took his life away. Since there is no hospital in his residential area, he was taken to Rahim Yar Khan in emergency; where he was diagnosed as a case of Ischemic Heart Disease.
Ischemic Heart Disease is an acquired heart condition that results in narrowing of blood vessels supplying blood to the heart itself. One day, he almost fainted due to pain with extreme breathlessness and fatigue, which resulted in an irregular heartbeat.
Being an old man, his immunity system is not that strong and the weak condition of his heart is making him weaker by each passing day. He has four sons and they are not financially stable as they have just started working on the farms after seeing their father’s condition. The total income of four of his sons merely adds up to 20,000 per month; which is way too less for them. Hence, Ali Muhammad’s family is still dependent on him.
Come forward & save the life of this old man who has no access to good medical facility like we have.
