Transparent Hands recently conducted a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Walden Memorial Eye Hospital in Daiwal, Chakwal on November 7, 2023. The main aim of this camp was to offer quality healthcare services to underprivileged patients, address their medical needs, and promote preventive measures for improved health outcomes.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 363 deserving patients were provided with free consultations along with medicines. A team of expert doctors also conducted diabetes tests, screenings for hepatitis B and C, and assessments for Malaria, Cholesterol, and blood pressure. These services were made available without any cost to the patients. A total of 201 diagnostic tests were also conducted.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, flu, chest infection, toothache, earache, scabies, typhoid, hepatitis, diarrhea, diabetes, urine infection, stomach ulcers, insomnia, jaundice, and body pain.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at this free medical camp. The session specifically addressed the prevention and management of scabies, offering attendees practical guidance on how to prevent it and effectively treat the condition for good skin health.
