Make Healthcare Accessible to Needy Patients in Matta
Transparent Hands is committed to bringing quality healthcare to underserved patients across Pakistan by organizing free medical camps. We’ve identified Chuprial, Matta, Bahrain Road in KPK as a region where many patients lack access to essential medical treatments. Due to financial constraints, the local communities are deprived of basic healthcare facilities. Our upcoming medical camp in Chuprial will provide free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medications to the needy residents of the area.
Challenges:
Chuprial, located along Bahrain Road in Matta, Swat District, faces significant healthcare challenges. The low-income communities in this area struggle to access essential medical services. The high costs of treatment at private hospitals and the lack of adequate facilities at local public hospitals leave many patients without proper care. Common illnesses faced by the residents include respiratory infections, waterborne diseases, and malnutrition, exacerbated by the region’s limited healthcare infrastructure.
Solution:
To make a positive impact on the lives of the people of Bahrain, Transparent Hands is holding a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session. A medical team consisting of skilled doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and volunteers will be there to serve the underprivileged community.

Preventive Healthcare Session:
To address the common health issues faced by the residents of Chuprial Matta, Transparent Hands will conduct a preventive healthcare session. Our qualified doctors will deliver informative speech and discuss various aspects of managing and preventing diseases. It will empower the underserved community with knowledge and healthy lifestyle choices.

Transparent Hands recently arranged a free medical and eye care camp to provide quality healthcare to underprivileged patients. The free medical camp was held on 10th August 2024 in Chuprial, Matta, District Swat.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 554 deserving patients received free medical consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, eye checkups, eyeglasses, blood pressure check-ups, ultrasound scans, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, PCR, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of charge. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, cataract, pterygium, eye infections, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of scabies.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 554 deserving patients and their families. Matta is a small village in Swat. Due to its remote location, many needy individuals could not access quality healthcare. Therefore, they were awaiting essential treatments. Through this free medical camp, they received much-needed medical care, hoping to get relief from their chronic diseases.
We provided free medical consultations, eye examinations, medications, diagnostic tests, and free eyeglasses to patients suffering from eyesight issues. For the residents of Matta, timely diagnosis of different diseases meant that they could begin essential treatments to prevent their health conditions from becoming severe.
Through your contributions, we were able to extend comprehensive healthcare to the low-income communities in Chuprial, Matta. We are incredibly grateful to you for helping us in this mission.
Medical Team
The medical camp team consisted of 24 members, including two camp managers, two doctors (one male and one female), two lab technicians, two optometrists, two pharmacists, 12 crew members, one staff nurse, and one photographer.
