Let’s Provide Free Healthcare to the Needy in Karachi
Transparent Hands is going to arrange another free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to extend medical support to underprivileged patients in Karachi. It is one of the largest cities in Pakistan, but many residents live in poverty and cannot afford even basic medical check-ups. To cater to the health issues of the needy in Karachi, we intend to make healthcare accessible to them. At this upcoming camp at Hol Kara Bai Karimji Khadda Market Campus, Lyari, Karachi, we will provide free checkups, consultations, and medicines to underprivileged patients.
Challenges
In Karachi’s low-income areas, inadequate water sanitation, lack of awareness, and expensive medical facilities contribute to various health complications. For many of its residents, the decision between paying for healthcare and meeting other basic needs leaves their health issues untreated.
Recently, Karachi faced many cases of Chikungunya virus infections. Moreover, malaria, acute diarrhea (non-cholera), scabies, and influenza frequently affect the population.
Solution
In response to this, Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp to facilitate needy patients in Karachi. This camp will provide free medical check-ups, diagnostic tests, and medicines to patients in need. Our team of qualified doctors and healthcare professionals will ensure that every individual receives proper care and attention. By addressing the healthcare needs of the community, this camp aims to improve their quality of life and bring essential medical services within their reach. Our highly qualified medical team of doctors, pharmacists, nurses, volunteers, and technicians will provide the following free medical services:
· General Check-Ups
· Gynecology Check-Ups
· Blood Pressure Check-Ups
· Hepatitis B & C Screenings
· Uric Acid Tests
· Cholesterol Tests
· BSR (Blood Sugar) Tests
· Preventive Healthcare Session
· Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
Preventive Healthcare Session

In Lyari, financial constraints prevented many underprivileged patients from accessing even basic medical checkups. This free camp became a source of hope for them, enabling them to receive free consultations, lab tests, medicines, as well as treatments. We provided Lyari’s residents with preventive healthcare and ensured that needy patients could get timely diagnoses and treatments. This has significantly improved their health and well-being.
Additionally, a preventive healthcare session raised awareness among the residents regarding some common health issues. This way, they can protect themselves from illness.
All this was made possible through your generous support.
