Challenges:
The deserving community of Jaranwala, often overlooked and underserved, faces a multitude of health issues due to limited hospitals, medical staff, and healthcare resources. Waterborne diseases, including diarrhea and typhoid, pose significant threats to the residents, while respiratory ailments such as asthma and chronic bronchitis further burden their well-being. Malnutrition-related conditions and gastrointestinal disorders also prevail, adding more to the health challenges. It is of utmost importance to take immediate action to address these critical health concerns by providing quality healthcare and medical services throughout medical camp in Jaranwala.

Transparent Hands held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Chak 71 RB, Balloo Wale, Bandala, Jaranwala on May 23, 2024. The purpose of this camp was to make quality healthcare accessible to impoverished patients in the local community. Rafhan Maize and other donors also supported us in this camp.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 294 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided.
