Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to extend quality healthcare services to underprivileged patients. It was held on June 29, 2024, Railway Hospital, Railway Colony, Near Kotri Railway Station, Kotri. Rafhan Maize and other donors also supported us in this camp.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 614 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Free medical check-ups and treatments, including diabetes, uric acid, hepatitis, cholesterol, and blood pressure checks, were provided.

Most Common Diseases
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, flu, cough, chest congestion, toothache, earache, eye infection, scabies, skin allergies, abdominal pain, diarrhea, diabetes,body pain and high-blood pressure.
Preventive Healthcare Session
This camp offered a preventive healthcare session led by one of our expert doctors which focused on the prevention and management of scabies.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 614 deserving patients and their families. The medical camp provided quality healthcare services to patients who couldn't afford them. Free consultations and tests addressed their immediate needs. A preventive health session also added value by providing guidance on prevention and management of scabies. This initiative was made possible by generous donors, allowing our mission to reach and assist deserving communities lacking access to essential medical care.

The medical camp team consisted of 19 members, including one supervisor, four doctors (two males and two females), 2 lab technicians, 2 pharmacists, 6 patient registrars , 2 crew members, 1 photographer, and 1 driver.
