Free Medical Camp in Lahore sponsored by Hi Tech Lubricants Ltd.
Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp on 11th October, 2018 at Ilmgah School Systems, Boy Campus, House No 8, D-2, Green Town, Lahore. The camp was organized by Transparent Hands with the collaboration of Hi Tech Lubricants Ltd.
In this medical camp, 493 patients were checked free of cost. They were also given free medicines as prescribed by doctors. In this medical camp, Sugar, Blood Group and Hepatitis B & C test facilities were also given free to the patients. HCV and HBsAg tests were also performed on 47 patients. Among those, we have found 9 HCV-positive cases. Further, 41 patients were given free blood group checkup facility.
In this medical camp, we found out that mostly patients were suffering from various diseases including chest infections, muscular & joint pain, seasonal fever & flu, skin allergies, high blood sugar levels, gastrointestinal diseases and many more.
Out of 493 patients, 6 surgical patients were pre-registered; 1 Cardiac, 1 Thyroid, 2 Kidney Stones, 1 Gall Bladder Stone and 1 Orthopedic patient.
Transparent Hands team comprising of 12 members managed this medical camp successfully. Team included 2 doctors, 1 pharmacist/dispenser, 3 phlebotomists, 1 supervisor, 1 photographer, 2 patient registration persons and 2 helpers. The camp sponsored by Hi Tech Lubricants Ltd has successfully created an impact in the lives of 493 patients of Ilmgah School Systems and surrounding areas of the camp. We look forward to organizing many such camps to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
