Eradicate Common Diseases Among Children in Lahore

Transparent Hands is going to arrange a free medical camp to provide medical support to children belonging to low-income families in Lahore. Despite its status as a major city in Pakistan, many patients including children experience numerous untreated health issues due to the high costs of medical interventions in Lahore. To cater to the health needs of the children, we plan to provide them with free consultations, diagnostic tests, medicines, and treatments.

Challenges:

Many children across Lahore face significant barriers to accessing quality healthcare. Financial constraints, lack of awareness, and expensive medical facilities prevent families from seeking timely medical attention for their children. This situation is particularly alarming for underprivileged families who are unable to afford even basic healthcare services, leaving children vulnerable to unaddressed health concerns.

According to a UNICEF report, pneumonia is one of the leading causes of illness and death among children in Lahore, especially in those under five years of age. Besides this, some communicable and water-borne diseases are also prevalent.

Solution:

In response to this, Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp for children at the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau in Lahore. This will provide free medical check-ups, diagnostic tests, and medicines to children experiencing treatable health issues. Our team of experienced doctors and healthcare professionals will ensure that every child receives personalized and compassionate care. This initiative aims to address the healthcare challenges faced by children in Lahore and promote their overall well-being.
