Transparent Hands is going to arrange a free medical camp to provide free eye care services to needy patients in Lahore. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to extend essential medical services to those who suffer from various eye diseases and are unable to afford treatments for them. We have recognized Lahore as an area where vision-related issues among underprivileged communities are continuously rising but they remain undiagnosed and untreated. By organizing this medical camp, we will provide them with free consultations, examinations, medicines as well as treatments.

Challenges

The residents of Lahore suffer from various eye issues like conjunctivitis, cataract, pterygium, and corneal opacity. The lack of affordable medical care in private hospitals and the overburdened local hospitals leave many needy individuals with poor health outcomes. Through timely medical care, their health issues should be addressed.

Living with an uncorrected vision affects people’s quality of life, limits participation in social gatherings, and affects their emotional well-being. The elderly face difficulties managing their eye health, and poor vision often contributes to reduced mobility and accidents.

Solution

To tackle these issues, Transparent Hands is organizing an eye camp in Lahore. Our eye specialists will offer free eye exams, eyeglasses, and basic eye treatments for individuals who need them. This camp will bring medical relief to those struggling with vision impairments and improve their daily lives. By providing these essential services at no cost, we are helping to remove the financial barriers to a clear vision and supporting the well-being of Lahore’s residents. At the free medical camp, our team of ophthalmologists, nurses, and volunteers will offer the following free healthcare services to underprivileged people in Lahore.

· Eye Check-Ups
· Consultations
· Medicines
· Eyeglasses
· Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
Overall, this medical camp will contribute to improving the health outcomes for the needy in Lahore.
