Empower Needy Patients in Lahore With Free Healthcare
Overview
Transparent Hands has been bridging the gaps in Pakistan’s healthcare sector by arranging free medical camps and preventive healthcare sessions for the underprivileged. Thousands of patients receive free treatments through our medical camps every year. Despite living in the urban areas many patients in Lahore are unable to access quality healthcare. Our upcoming free medical camp at Hafeez Center, Lahore, will provide free check-ups, medicines, and diagnostic tests to hundreds of patients belonging to underprivileged and vulnerable communities.
Challenge
Many local hospitals in Lahore are overburdened and patients often have to wait for long periods of time to undergo essential surgeries. Patients in Lahore are suffering from a long list of illnesses, including hypertension, cardiac issues, and respiratory diseases. Smog is one of the key factors that increase the prevalence of respiratory diseases. Around 25% of adults in Lahore suffer from hypertension and approximately 10-15% have diabetes. Numerous patients suffer from treatable diseases in the city because they can’t afford to pay for their treatments.

- Free Check-Ups by Female and Male Doctors
- Free Medicines
- Free Hepatitis B & C Screenings
- Free BSR & Blood Pressure Check-Ups

Transparent Hands will hold a Preventive Healthcare Session on Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) as it’s one of the diseases faced by many residents of Lahore. Besides providing these quality healthcare services free of charge, Transparent Hands will also register the cases of those deserving patients who need further surgical or medical procedures. They will receive treatments at one of our panel hospitals. Join hands with us to support this noble cause. Contribute now.
