Changing Lives with Free Eye Care Services in Lahore
Transparent Hands is going to arrange a free medical camp to make healthcare accessible to the needy in Lahore. We are committed to our mission to extend comprehensive medical care to underprivileged communities. Lahore is an urban city with a large number of hospitals. Yet, many poor people are unable to access timely medical care due to their financial limitations. The primary objective of this medical camp is to uplift low-income communities and provide them with free consultations, eye examinations, eyeglasses, and medications.
Challenges:
Many patients in Lahore face challenges in accessing eye care services due to a lack of quality facilities and high treatment costs. As a result, issues like blurred vision and cataract go untreated, negatively impacting the lives of individuals, particularly the elderly and those from low-income families. Vision problems often lead to difficulties in work, diminishing opportunities, and reducing quality of life.
Over 13,000 new cases of pink eye (conjunctivitis) were reported in Punjab recently, indicating a severe health issue in the region. Moreover, the occurrence of cataract is 51% in Pakistan.
Solution:
Transparent Hands will hold a free eye camp in Lahore, bringing essential eye care services to those in need. Our team of experienced eye specialists will perform check-ups, provide eyeglasses, and offer necessary treatments, enabling residents to experience the joy of clear vision. This initiative will make eye care accessible. At the free medical camp, our team of ophthalmologists, nurses, and volunteers will offer the following free healthcare services to underprivileged people in Lahore.
· Eye Check-Ups
· Consultations
· Medicines
· Eyeglasses
· Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
