Bring Hope and Healing to Kasur’s Mothers and Children
Transparent Hands is organizing a free medical camp in Kasur to bring much-needed healthcare services to underprivileged mothers and children. This initiative aims to provide essential treatments to those who cannot afford or access basic medical care. Many families in Kasur struggle with health issues that could be easily addressed if proper medical facilities were available. By extending free healthcare, we hope to empower these communities with better health and well-being.
Challenges
In Kasur, numerous mothers and children face preventable health problems due to poverty and lack of resources. Women often experience untreated gynecological conditions, while children suffer from malnutrition and growth delays. Limited awareness about healthcare and preventive measures further worsens these issues, putting many lives at risk.
The district’s infant mortality rate (IMR) stands at 48.7 per 1000 live births, while the maternal mortality rate (MMR) is 140 per 100,000 live births. These alarming figures highlight the need for accessible healthcare interventions in the region.
How We’re Making a Difference?
To tackle these health challenges, Transparent Hands will set up a free medical camp in Kasur, delivering essential healthcare services to mothers and children. The camp will provide much-needed medical care, helping to diagnose and treat common health issues. Families will benefit from expert consultations, screenings, and support to improve their health. Additionally, nutritional assistance will be provided to ensure better health outcomes. The camp will offer the following services:
Consultations with a pediatrician
Gynecological check-ups for women
Blood Pressure check-ups
Nutritional screening for children
BMI calculation
Blood sugar tests
CBC
Ultrasound scans for women
Preventive Healthcare Session
Deserving Surgical/Medical procedure cases will be registered
