Top 5 Welfare Organizations Providing Free Medical Care to People in Need in Pakistan
Nonprofits are organizations, that express their solemn concern and care for their fellow human being’s with the belief that the future of mankind can be better. Thus, through their charitable activities, they are fixing the lives of broken people who need assistance to overcome their hardships and agonies.
Nonprofit organizations are working independently in the healthcare sector, with the solemn aim of uplifting and fixing poor lives that are torn apart or almost paralyzed due to diseases and sickness. Most of these poor patients are suffering from illnesses that are easily curable, yet they cannot hope to get permanent relief only because they do not have the money to pay for it. Nonprofits are working on their charitable campaigns and projects to give free treatment to these poor souls who would otherwise continue to suffer terribly.
The charitable services provided by the nonprofits in the healthcare sector are very important not only for our society but also for the economy of our country. Now, one doesn’t need to be an economist to understand this simple fact, that an unhealthy or immobile population cannot even take the responsibility of their own lives let alone contribute for the greater interest of the country’s economy.
Today, the barrier to Pakistan’s prosperity and success are not just factors like terrorism, drones or energy crises but also lack of proper healthcare to its citizens is undermining their working capabilities and potentials on the whole.
Hence, improving our healthcare should be made an immediate priority, if we are actually willing to stand as a strong, affluent and booming nation on the global platform.
Nonprofits are already doing their part in the healthcare system by serving the diverse medical needs of individuals, families and communities, and trying to cover their treatments through fundraising.
We just need to embrace the purpose of ensuring the welfare of the community as our ultimate objective and work to uplift the befallen lives.
Let us offer our meaningful support to these nonprofit organizations to bring goodness to our society and improve the quality of life for everyone.

We need nonprofit organizations in our healthcare system as an alternative solution to resolve the issues that the government, its ministries, and administrations do not care about.
The government-run hospitals are overcrowded, poorly equipped and are understaffed. As a result, many patients have to wait for a long time before they actually get their treatment or surgeries get scheduled. The patients also complain that they were only given dates for months or years, but never got the treatment done as they were declined by the authorities saying that there was no place to accommodate the extra patients.
The private hospitals are clearly run for the middle and elite class of the society who can pay for their expensive facilities. In these hospitals, poor or low-income patients have to deposit the fees first at the counter before even getting their emergency relief.
Amidst such crucial circumstances, the poor and low-income families are completely depressed because they don’t know where to ask for help when they badly need healthcare to cure their illnesses.
When there is no hope that the government is going to take any initiative right at this moment to improve the quality of our healthcare, we have to rely on the nonprofit organization as an alternative solution.
Nonprofit organizations working in the healthcare system are providing free medical facilities, diagnosis, medicine, and even surgeries to poor and low-income families across the country, to ensure that they can get access to basic healthcare which is not a privilege but their rights. These organizations are also raising awareness among the illiterate people about family planning, having nutritional foods, maintenance of personal hygiene and training midwives.
Nonprofit organizations are working with honesty and transparency to touch millions of lives out there. Now it’s our turn to support them through our financial aid and volunteering services.
