Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of Scabies. It is a parasitic infestation that causes an itchy skin rash all over the body.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 982 deserving patients and their families. Despite living in an urban city, many poor patients can’t afford the necessary interventions for their health issues. We addressed the health needs of underprivileged communities by providing them with free check-ups, diagnostic tests, and medicines.
Moreover, through a preventive healthcare session, we provided knowledge about the risk factors, causes, and management of Scabies, as it is a common health issue among the residents of Karachi. Overall, the medical camp positively impacted the lives of needy people, giving them a healthy life.
Medical Camp Team
The medical camp team consisted of 19 members, including 2 supervisors, 3 doctors ( one male and two females), 2 lab technicians, 3 pharmacists, 4 patient registrars, 3 crew members, 1 photographer, and 1 driver.
