Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from skin allergies, fever, diabetes, body pains, hypertension, gastric problems, cough, flu, and body weakness. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients. Around 3% of the tested patients had Hepatitis C and 2% had Hepatitis B.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 977 deserving patients. Despite living in an urban city, many needy patients were suffering from chronic health issues and awaiting necessary treatments. We helped them by providing free diagnostic tests, check-ups, medications, and treatments. For them, timely diagnosis of their illnesses meant that they could begin necessary treatments and prevent potential complications.
Moreover, the distribution of free medicines ensured that no one was left behind in accessing quality healthcare due to financial constraints.
We succeeded in our mission to provide essential health services to the underprivileged communities of Karachi just because of your donations. Your contributions positively impacted their lives.
