We Provided Free Healthcare to the Underserved in Faisalabad
Transparent Hands, with the generous support of Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd & Musa Bilal, recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to extend quality healthcare to needy patients in Faisalabad. It was held on December 31, 2024, at Waheed Maternity Home, Chak 235 RB, Nayamuana, District Faisalabad.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 180 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided free of charge. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were distributed among a large number of deserving patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention of Hepatitis C.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 180 deserving patients in Faisalabad. This camp extended much-needed healthcare to a community facing severe financial challenges in accessing even basic medical attention. This camp became a source of hope for needy patients, providing free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests to people of all ages. Many patients from low-income families were finally able to access professional medical care without worrying about the cost.
