We Improved Access to Preventive Healthcare in Sahiwal
Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Packages Foundation, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session in Mohalla Nawan Lok, Street No 9, Tehsil Sahiwal, District Sargodha. The primary objective of this camp held on January 28, 2025, was to provide essential medical assistance to underprivileged patients.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests:
A total of 523 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests including:
- Diabetes tests
- Uric acid tests
- Hepatitis B and C screenings
- Cholesterol tests
- Ultrasound scans
- Blood pressure checkups

In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about the prevention and management of Anemia.
Impact
This free medical camp made a significant impact on the lives of 523 deserving patients and their families. In Sahiwal, financial constraints and limited health facilities were preventing many patients from accessing treatments on time. This camp addressed the necessary health needs of deserving patients, providing them with free healthcare services including consultations, lab tests, ultrasound scans as well as medicines. It helped patients receive timely diagnoses of their health issues and obtain appropriate treatments.
Moreover, the preventive healthcare session provided valuable insights regarding the management of anemia, which is a common health issue in Sahiwal. Overall, this medical camp played a key role in changing the lives of deserving patients in Sahiwal, and we aim to continue our mission of making healthcare accessible to all deserving patients in Pakistan.
