Transparent Hands, with the generous support of Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd and Matt Pomrink, recently organized another free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare accessible to needy patients in Jaranwala.The free medical camp was held on 31st December 2024 at Dera Malik Khalid, Opposite Rafhan Maize Godown, Makkuana, Jaranwala, District Faisalabad.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 127 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided free of charge. Here is a summary of the different diagnostic tests provided at the free medical camp in Jaranwala.

Diseases and Treatments

Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.

Preventive Healthcare Session

Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of Hypertension.

Impact

The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 127 deserving patients in Jaranwala.  Needy patients struggled to access even the most basic healthcare services due to their limited means. This camp provided free medical consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests to them. Residents, who had been silently suffering from health issues, were finally able to receive essential healthcare services at no cost. 

A preventive healthcare session on Hypertension was also conducted during the camp, educating attendees about its prevention and encouraging healthy practices.
