We Delivered Vital Healthcare to the Vulnerable in Quetta
Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Innovative Development Organization (IDO), and the generous support of Soorty Foundation, recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare to underprivileged patients. The free medical camp was held on November 19, 2024, at Primary School, Killi Sardar Satakzai, Union Council, Quetta.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 460 needy patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, and cholesterol tests were provided free of charge. At the free medical camp, most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, diabetes, body pains, cough, skin allergies, scabies, fever, and stomach issues. Free medicines were given to a large number of impoverished patients.

Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of Scabies.
