Our Free Medical Camp Provided a Vital Health Solution in Kotri

Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to impoverished patients. The free medical camp was held at Global Wisdom English Grammar School, Khursheed Colony, Kotri, on May 14, 2024. 

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 597 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Free medicines, diabetes tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, uric acid, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided.

Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, flu, sore throat, chest congestion, seasonal allergies, earache, toothache, body/joint pain, kidney pain, migraine, hepatitis, high BP, diabetes, uric acid, and skin rashes. 

Impact

The recent free medical camp organized by Transparent Hands in Kotri made a significant difference in the lives of 597 deserving patients and their families. The camp provided them with much-needed medical consultations, a wide range of diagnostic services, and valuable preventive healthcare guidance, all at no cost.

By offering these vital services free of charge, the camp eased the financial burden on these families, many of whom would have otherwise struggled to access essential healthcare. The medical camp team comprised 11 members: one supervisor, three doctors (two males and one female), one lab technician, one staff nurse, two pharmacists, one crew worker, one volunteer, and one photographer.
