Our Free Medical Camp Provided a Vital Health Solution in Karachi
Transparent Hands, in collaboration with Inspire Pakistan, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare to the impoverished people in this area. This initiative aims to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility and ensure that even the most vulnerable community can receive the care they deserve. It was held on 29th May 2024 at Jamia Masjid, Bahadur Goth, Main Afghan Camp Road, Northern Bypass, Gadap Town, Karachi.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 636 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, cholesterol, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided free of charge.

Most Common Diseases
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, flu, sore throat, chest congestion, seasonal allergies, earache, toothache, body/joint pain, kidney pain, migraine, hepatitis, high BP, diabetes, uric acid, and scabies.
Preventive Healthcare Session
One of our expert doctors held a session on preventing and managing scabies, that is a common skin condition.

Through the generous support and donations received, we were able to provide these 636 individuals with much-needed healthcare services and consultations. The success of the medical camp not only resulted in immediate relief for those who received medical attention but also brought hope and reassurance to their families. By addressing their healthcare needs, Transparent Hands played a crucial role in improving the overall well-being of these individuals and contributing to a healthier community.

The medical camp team comprised 22 members, including one supervisor, five doctors (two males and three females), 2 lab technicians, 4 pharmacists, 6 patient registrars, 2 crew members,1 photographer, and one driver.
