Our Free Medical Camp Healed Many Lives in Karachi
Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of Lucky Knits Private Limited, recently arranged a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide
quality healthcare to impoverished patients. On 19th September 2024, the free medical camp was held at Lucky Knits Private Limited, Milestone, Karachi Hyderabad Motorway, Beside Edhi Village, Kathore, Karachi.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 627 deserving patients received free consultations from our experienced doctors. General check-ups, medicines, blood pressure check-ups, eye check-ups, diabetes tests, and hepatitis B & C screenings, were provided free of cost. Moreover, free eyeglasses were also given to a large number of patients who had eyesight issues. Here is a summary of different diagnostic tests provided at the free medical camp.

Preventive Healthcare Session
Aside from medical services, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp in Karachi. The session focused on personal hygiene. The doctors discussed how the lack of personal hygiene can cause various health issues and the ways to improve personal hygiene.
Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from skin allergies, fever, diabetes, pains, hypertension, gastric problems, cough, flu, and body weakness. Additionally, free medicines were given to a large number of needy patients.

Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals ensured that each patient received thorough care and advice on managing their conditions. In addition, a preventive healthcare session was conducted to educate people and encourage healthy lifestyles and better hygiene practices to prevent the spread of common diseases.

The medical camp team consisted of 19 members, including 2 supervisors, 3 doctors (2 males and 1 female), 2 lab technicians, 1 staff nurse, 2 pharmacists, 4 patient registrars, 1 photographer, 1 driver, and 2 crew members.
