Our Free Medical Camp Brought Hope to Karachi
Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Soorty Enterprises Private Limited, recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare to deserving laborers. The free medical camp was arranged on 20th July 2024 at Soorty Enterprises Private Limited, Unit 10, Korangi Industrial Area, Korangi, Karachi.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 601 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, ultrasound scans, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, LFT, RFT, CBC, HB, malaria, cholera, and cholesterol tests were provided free of cost. Diseases and Treatments
Most of the patients who received consultations were suffering from flu, skin allergies, scabies, fever, diabetes, body pains, cough, and stomach issues. Moreover, free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.
Preventive Healthcare Session
Aside from medical services, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp. The session focused on the prevention and management of Scabies.
Impact
The free medical camp made a difference in the lives of 601 deserving people. Many patients including men, women, and children, received essential medical services, including free consultation, medicines, and diagnostic tests.
This camp contributed to reducing health issues and promoted overall well-being among the residents of the area. Moreover, the preventive healthcare session benefited the attendees at the camp, encouraging them to fight scabies and improve their quality of life.

The medical camp team consisted of 18 members, including one supervisor, four doctors (two males and two females), 4 lab technicians, 1 sonologist, 2 pharmacists, 4 patient registrars, 2 crew members, and 1 driver.
