Many Needy Patients in Phool Nagar Received Free Healthcare

Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of LUMS, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Govt School, Village Dhalwan, Phool Nagar, District Kasur. The primary objective of this camp held on November 3, 2024, was to provide essential medical assistance to the underserved community in Phool Nagar.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 468 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests including:

  • Diabetes tests
  • Uric acid tests
  • Hepatitis B and C screenings
  • Cholesterol tests
  • Blood pressure checkups
  • Ultrasound scans

We also distributed sanitary pads among the female attendees in the camp.

Most Common Diseases 

Patients received consultations for a variety of diseases, including but not limited to:

  • Fever, cough, flu, and chest congestion
  • Seasonal allergies and scabies
  • Asthma, backache, and joint pain
  • Migraine and kidney problems
  • Diabetes and high blood pressure
  • Abdominal pain, diarrhea, and acidity

Preventive Healthcare Session

In addition to the medical services, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about Breast cancer and the importance of sanitary pads

Impact

This free medical camp made a substantial impact on the lives of 468 deserving patients and their families. By providing free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests, we addressed essential healthcare needs in the community.

This camp alleviated multiple health concerns of needy individuals in Phool Nagar, ensuring that patients received quality medical care that they would otherwise have been unable to afford. Moreover, the preventive healthcare session provided valuable knowledge on the symptoms, causes, and ways to manage breast cancer. 

Overall, the camp proved to be beneficial in providing care and relief to needy patients in Phool Nagar. We managed to extend quality healthcare services to this area just because of your support. We thank everyone who supported us in our mission to uplift low-income communities in Phool Nagar.
