Free Medical Camp in Talagang, Chakwal, Punjab on July 17, 2022
Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to poor patients. The free medical camp was held in Village Khuian, Tehsil Talagang, Chakwal, on July 17, 2022. Ittihad Welfare Society Khuian participated in the medical camp.
Free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests
A total of 325 patients belonging to underprivileged communities received free consultations by expert doctors. Medicines, diabetes tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, uric acid tests, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided free of charge.
Preventive healthcare session on personal hygiene
Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees at the free medical camp in Talagang. The session focused on personal hygiene. The doctors discussed the importance of washing hands before eating, oral hygiene, and how cleanliness can help us avoid many diseases.
Diseases and treatments
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from gastrointestinal problems and anemia. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients.

The medical camp team consisted of 16 members, including a supervisor, three doctors (one female and two males), two pharmacists, a lab technician, two patient registrars, a photographer, and six crew workers.
