Free Medical Camp: Healthcare for Underprivileged in Faisalabad

Transparent Hands, with the collaboration of Rafhan Maize Products Co Ltd, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Galaxy Welfare School, Basti 216 RB, Tehsil Jaranwala, District Faisalabad on November 29, 2024. We aimed to provide quality healthcare to the underprivileged communities in Faisalabad.

Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests

A total of 273 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. Along with consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests including:

•         Diabetes tests
•         Uric acid tests
•         Hepatitis B and C screenings
•         Cholesterol tests
•         Blood pressure checkups

•         Diabetes and high blood pressure
•         Abdominal pain, diarrhea, and acidity

Preventive Healthcare Session

Aside from medical services, our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about the prevention and management of Hepatitis C.

This free medical camp positively impacted the lives of 273 deserving patients and their families in Faisalabad. By providing free consultations, screenings, lab tests, and essential medications, this camp significantly uplifted low-income communities. Many individuals who could not afford medical care due to financial hardships received comprehensive healthcare services. This initiative not only addressed pressing health issues within the community but also provided a way for a healthier future for all.
