Free Medical Camp in Mull Village, Lahore on 22nd May 2022
Transparent Hands recently organized a free medical camp with the vision to provide quality health care to deserving patients. The medical camp was held at Govt. Middle School, Mull Village near Sundar Industrial Estate, Raiwind, Lahore, on May 22, 2022. Transparent Hands also received support from the Patient Benevolent Society in conducting this medical camp.
Free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests
A total of 139 patients belonging to underprivileged communities received free consultations. Besides free medicines, the patients were also provided with blood sugar tests, blood pressure tests, and hepatitis B and C screenings free of charge.
Medical camp team
The medical camp team consisted of 27 members, including a supervisor, nine doctors (six males and three females), one pharmacist, one photographer, a lab technician, two patient registrars, and 12 crew workers.
Diseases and treatments
In Mull village, most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, diabetes, pains, hypertension, gastric problems, and flu. Free medicines were given to a large number of deserving patients. Only one patient needed to undergo surgery.
Impact
This free medical camp made a lasting difference in the lives of more than 130 patients and their families. This year, Transparent Hands aims to arrange 100 free medical camps across Pakistan. Thousands of donors are supporting Transparent Hands’ mission to provide quality medical care to the underprivileged and remote areas of the country.
