Free Medical Camp at Lahore Press Club by Transparent Hands
Transparent Hands team organized a free medical camp on February 28, 2021, at Lahore Press Club to facilitate the underprivileged population residing in that area that cannot afford basic healthcare facilities. Our medical team consisted of 28 experts including one supervisor, eleven doctors (three male and eight female), three pharmacists, one staff nurse, three lab technologists, three patient registrars, two photographers, and four crew workers.
The medical team was successful in the provision of expert medical consultation and medication, free of cost, to 253 patients. The tests that were conducted in the camp included Hepatitis B and C screening tests, blood sugar, and blood pressure. The majority of the cases constituted patients who were suffering from allergies. They were prescribed appropriate medicines by the doctors. President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari presented the shield to Raheel Abbas (Director Operations, Transparent Hands) on his efforts for poor and needy patients. We look forward to organizing many such camps to facilitate the poor and deserving patients of Pakistan.
