Even though it might not seem just to those residing outside of the United States of America, it is in fact true that there are several million people who are living below the poverty line in the country. The American dream does not come true for every single person who resides there, and several find themselves struggling to make ends meet somehow.

Nonprofits are working in various sectors of the society combating poverty, improving healthcare and education system for all, taking care of the elderly, giving refuge to the animals, preserving the environment, wildlife and ecology of the country, looking after the well being of the minorities and refugees and so on, providing long term help to single moms, nonprofits are making positive impacts in our society than we can think of.
