Transparent Hands holds a Medical and Surgical Camp at Tri Mor, Nawabshah
On 16th July 2021, Dunya International newspaper published a detailed article on Transparent Hands. Its author, Syeda Raza, highlighted the philanthropic endeavours of Ms. Rameeza Mueen, CEO and Founder of Transparent Hands. The article also features a report on the free Medical and Surgical Camp organised on 18th June 2021 by Transparent Hands at Tri Mor, Nawabshah, Sindh. This Medical and Surgical camp had been set up for the underprivileged people residing in the said locality. The camp team consisted of 20 members including two supervisors, four doctors (two male and two female), three pharmacists, one lab technologist, two patient registrars, three female nurses, one photographer, and six crew workers. All COVID SOPs were followed by the camp team. Patients and all other attendees were encouraged to wear face masks and use hand sanitisers. Testing facilities for Hepatitis B and C, blood sugar level, and blood pressure were provided. In total 250 patients were provided free consultation and medicines. The majority of the cases examined by the doctors consisted of patients suffering from stomach issues, joints and muscular pains, and various types of allergies. Free, appropriate medication was provided to such patients. Eighteen medical and surgical cases, and twelve Hepatitis positive cases have been registered with Transparent Hands for treatment. The Natives of Tri Mor, Nawabshah were grateful to Transparent Hands for holding this camp in their locality. The author applauded Transparent Hands for being among the few non-profit organizations that carry on their endeavors with such zeal. She further shed light on the importance of donors in terms of materialising such events.
