Kotri Medical and Surgical Camp held at Choudhry Ismail Welfare Hospital
On 17th July 2021, SAMA Lahore, Jahan Pakistan Lahore, Daily Jinnah Lahore, Rapid Lahore, and Metropolitan Lahore, published articles on Kotri Medical and Surgical Camps organised by Transparent Hands. Where as Public News, M News, Royal News, TV Today, and Lahore News 1 broadcasted news regarding the Kotri Medical and Surgical Camps. Transparent Hands managed a two-day free medical and surgical camp at Choudhry Ismail Welfare Hospital, Kotri that was held on 10th and 11th of July 2021 respectively. These camps were set up for the underprivileged people residing in the said locality. The camps were managed by Transparent Hands under the CSR Program of Rafhan Maize Products, Kotri.
On 10th of July 2021, the camp team consisted of twenty-one members including two supervisors, two patient registrars, three pharmacists (two male and one female), five doctors (two male and three female), three female nurses, one photographer and five crew workers. All COVID SOPs were followed by the camp team. Testing facilities for blood sugar level and blood pressure along with ultrasound were provided. Hundreds of patients were provided free consultation and medicines.

The two-day free medical and surgical camp managed by Transparent Hands at Choudhry Ismail Welfare Hospital, Kotri has proven to be impactful in terms of assisting hundreds of patients that turned up for check-up at the camps respectively. The majority of the cases examined by the doctors consisted of patients suffering from stomach issues, joints and muscular pains, and various types of allergies. Free, appropriate medication was provided to such patients. In total, three surgical cases have also been registered with us for treatment.
